"Saskamodie" is Mocky's first release for Crammed DiscsHe is listed as playing drums, bass, rhodes, piano, guitar, percussion, bells, recorder, vocals, whistle, organ and toys as well as writing string arrangements. Taylor Savvy, Gonzales, Jamie Lidell, and Feist contribute additional instrumental and backing vocal performances that make this record sound more like a live performance than a studio creation.

Chicha Libre draw their inspiration from... Chicha, a form of Peruvian music that emerged from the Amazon in the early '70s, loosely derived from Colombian accordion-driven cumbias but incorporating distinctive Andean melodies, some Cuban son and heady swirls of surf guitar, farfisa organ and moog synth. All in all, a sound which wouldn't seem out of place in the soundtrack of a Tarantino movie.

At the extreme pop end of Aksak Maboul's broad musical spectrum, an album will soon be coming out with a slight delay of… 30 years!Recorded by Aksak Maboul and (Honeymoon Killers singer) Véronique Vincent in 1982-83, it was announced in the very first Crammed catalogue, back in '81, but has remained unfinished.
Entitled "Ex-Future Album", it will consist of demos & rough mixes (some salvaged from cassette tapes), and will come out in September 2014, on CD, vinyl and digital.
