Tuxedomoon founding member Steven Brown has released several solo or collaborative albums, four of which came out as part of the Made To Measure series: his two cult albums with Benjamin Lew, full of mysterious electronic/acoustic landscapes ("Douzieme Journee" and "A Propos d'un Paysage"), the mesmerising "De doute et de grâce" soundtrack, recorded with fellow Tuxedomoon member Blaine Reininger, and featuring the inimitable voice of the great Delphine Seyrig, and “Clear Tears|Troubled Waters”, the soundtrack for a choreography by Thierry SMits, written & recorded with Reininger and Bodson.
2022 sees him releasing his first solo album since the 1990s, “El Hombre Invisible”, a hypnotic collection of songs centered around his emblematic vocals, melodies & lyrics, set in an intimate environment, with sparse elegant, arrangements.
Steven Brown drops Resist music video
Following “Warning”, the first single off his gorgeous, upcoming album, Tuxedomoon co-frontman Steven Brown releases a music video for a song whose chorus resounds all the more ominously right now: "The past is not over, the past is not past I have no choice but to be An enemy of my time, this faceless tyranny time This fiendish time, this time of fiends"
