Kasai Allstars' wild new album now on preorder
The long-awaited 2nd LP by the mindblowing Congotronics collective from Kinshasa, DRC, will come out as a 2CD and a limited-ed. vinyl
Filmed during the recordings, "The Chief's Enthronement", the first video off the album was premiered on Pitchfork.
The album just got an enthusiastic and extensive write-up in The Wire Magazine who, among many other things, points out that "this is why Kasai Allstars connect so strongly with us. Moreaover, nowadays we get Js and software wranglers, whereas these guys handle chunky, often self-built instruments, physically creating the music. It's exhilarating just to watch this much physical work from a musician."
The 2CD and 1LP versions of "Beware the Fetish" can now be preordered HERE
