"Solve et Coagula" is a compilation covering Tuxedomoon's career from 1978 to 1988. Released in 1993, it invited the listener to discover or rediscover the multiple aspects of their music. The choice of the tracks was made by all band members. Included are "No Tears", "Desire", "Some Guys", an exclusive remix of "You", and "Dark Companion", a single from their Ralph period, so far unavailable on CD, and especially remixed for this compilation.
