No Tears was Tuxedomoon's first notable release.
This 12" EP came out in 1978 and contained the following four tracks:
New Machine
Litebulb Overkill
Nite and Day (Hommage à Cole Porter)
No Tears
The title track quickly became a club favorite, and remains a classic to this day.
The No Tears EP was reissued by Crammed & Tuxedomoon around the mid-80s on their joint CramBoy imprint, both in vinyl and CD single formats (which are now both deleted).
The four tracks were then included in the CD re-issue of the Desire album. In 2003, the track No Tears was included in a vinyl EP released by Crammed under the title Six Underground Club Classics
In 2007, a new video was produced by Bruce Geduldig for the song No Tears, celebrating Tuxedomoon's 30th anniversary and including archive photos and footage. The video is included in the Found Films DVD.
A new vinyl edition of the No Tears EP is scheduled for late 2013 on San Francisco label Superior Viaduct.
