With one foot on each side of the Atlantic, the Ziriguiboom label is ideally positioned to build a bridge between Brazil, Europe and North America. Since its inception in 1998, Ziriguiboom has indeed become known as the Brazilian link in the current chain of global music, focusing on innovative artists and producers based in Brazil and abroad. Bossacucanova, Bebel Gilberto, Zuco 103, Trio Mocotó, Celso Fonseca, Cibelle (and the late Suba) are constantly searching for groundbreaking music without losing track of the rich heritage they represent. Each Ziriguiboom act brings a unique facet of the current musical spectrum.

Featuring previously unreleased tracks which didn't feature on the original albums or tracks by upcoming artists (look out for Cibelle, Celso Fonseca, etc) as well as some of those that have marked the history of Ziriguiboom, 'The Now Sound of Brazil' showcases Ziriguiboom as it stands now.
