"British Hip Hop" used to be a swearword... but: not anymore ! The UK scene has taken a radical twist into original new avenues, as witnessed by the work of acts like Roots Manuva or Blak Twang, of labels such as Ronin, Ninja's Big Dada or Grand Central.

Put together by Language boss Tony Thorpe and Fun>Da>Mental's Dave Watts, this project brings together the best and freshest of UK hip hop : ten exciting tracks (half of which are exclusives) by the likes of Lewis Parker, Roots Manuva, Blackanized,  Numskullz, Baby J, Abzent Minded and more. "It It 's Not..." depicts a new musical & lyrical landscape which takes on board the sonic innovations brought by drum'n'bass & breakbeat culture, as well as the social & cultural reality on this side of the ocean.
